Home Medical Equipment Expert (HMEE) Certificate Program
This one-day CE program will be offered to pharmacists on April 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pharmacists and pharmacy techs will earn ACPE continuing education units, while all attendees will receive an HMEE Certificate for completing the program.
The intent of this program is to give the pharmacist and pharmacy tech a comprehensive overview of the HME business including: operations, demographics, sales, customer service, billing and referral sources. Updates will cover changes in Medicare reimbursement and mandatory programs such as accreditation and competitive bidding. The core products will also be detailed during brief inservices on the major HME categories.
