HME News and Access 180, co-producers of The HME Exposition & Conference, unveiled the plans for the newly formed HME Awareness Institute.  The HME Awareness Institute will operate as a non-branded promotional campaign for the HME Industry to raise awareness with consumers and elected legislative officials.

With the formation of the HME Awareness Institute, the group has started the search for a public relations firm to develop and execute on the plan to provide a “new face” for the consumer media of what the HME Industry offers in terms of product innovation and patient care.

Funding Sources

Your support of the HME Exposition & Conference will fund the HME Awareness Institute.  Funds will be raised through:

  • Revenue from the exposition space sales
  • Conference registration revenue
  • 100% of all expo floor registration revenue
  • HME Idea Zone profits
  • One Industry - Opening Night Celebration at HME Exposition & Conference - profits
  • Contributions from registrants and manufacturers

Information

HME Awareness Institute and Advocacy Advisory Council

This Council has a dual responsibility in that they will decide how to administer the monies from the HME Awareness Institute as well as make decisions on the lobbying efforts surrounding the show.  This Council will have decision making ability for both of these items.
